Extra Data Related to the Venus Express Mission

   This directory contains value added elements that are outside the          
   scope of the PDS archive requirements. Items included in this              
   directory are currently limited to metakernels and orbit number files.     
                                                                              
   The directory ``MK'' provides metakernels that can be used in              
   applications with few modifications. For more information about the        
   metakernels, see file ``MK/MKINFO.TXT''.                                   
                                                                              
   The orbit number files included in the ``ORBNUM'' subdirectory             
   provide the orbit numbers and start times along with a small set of        
   derived geometric parameters for each orbit. These files were              
   generated during the mission using the NAIF's ORBNUM utility program       
   on the merged spacecraft trajectory SPK files available at the moment.     
   The files included in this data set are the most recent files available
   at the moment of the compilation of each release of this data set, which
   should span at least the same time interval as all the SPK files           
   included in the data set. For more information about the orbit number
   files provided on this volume, see file ``ORBNUM/ORBINFO.TXT''.
