============================================================================= Rosetta FK Files ============================================================================= This "aareadme.txt" file describes the contents of the KERNELS/FK directory of the ROSETTA SPICE data server. It also provides the file naming conventions used for the ROSETTA FK kernels, and it provides identification of the most current version of each kind of FK file. All these FK files are produced manually with the information supplied by Rosetta teams describing the frames for the spacecraft and its science instruments. Some of these FK files (for tracking stations) are provided specifically for the Radio Science investigation. All FK files (*.TF) contained in this directory are unix text files. These may be used in a non-compatible text environment by using the ASCII mode of FTP to port the files. This kernel was released on the date indicated in the filename yy-mm-dd. EARTHFIXEDIAU.TF This kernel makes the IAU_EARTH frame coincide with the earth fixed reference frame. EARTHFIXEDITRF93.TF This kernel makes the ITRF93 frame coincide with the earth fixed reference frame. ESTRACK_Vvv.TF This kernel defines a topocentric reference frame for each of the ESA ESTRACK ground stations. NEW_NORCIA_TOPO.TF FK kernel for the topocentric reference frame for the ESA 35m tracking antenna at New Norcia. ROS_CGS_AUX_Vvv.TF Auxiliary frames needed for ROVIZ internal computations. ROS_Vxx.TF FK containing the complete set of frame definitions for the Rosetta Spacecraft (ROS) and Rosetta Lander (ROS_LANDER) including definitions for the Rosetta spacecraft and Rosetta science instrument frames and Rosetta Lander fixed, Rosetta Lander instrument, and landing site local frames. This FK is also a SCLK kernel that provides the definition of the 67P/C-G_CK comet frame. Please note that this frame is to be used with a CATT file providing orientation or the beforementioned frame. This kernel also contains NAIF ID/name mapping for the Rosetta instruments and targets (asteroids and comet). RSSDvvvv.TF FK kernel defining a number of mission independent frames that could be used by any of the users of any of the ESA planetary missions and that are not ``built'' in the SPICE toolkit. ROS_LUTETIA_RSOC_Vvv.TF FK that contains the definition of a body-fixed frame for Lutetia, whose primary meridian is chosen to contain a given feature on the surface of the asteroid, and its Z axis is its rotational axis. ROS_CHURYUMOV_Vvv.TF FK and SCLK kernel that provide the definition of the 67P/C-G_CK comet frame. Please note that this frame is to be used with a CATT file providing orientation for the aforementioned frame.
