It also provides the file naming conventions used for the JUICE Star Catalogue, and it provides identification of the most current version of each kind of Star Catalogue file. Brief Summary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- This directory contains the JUICE SOC Star Catalogue files. These files contain the coordinates in RA/Dec of each of the Stars used by UVS for their "stellar occultation" observations. Please note that these files are not standard SPICE kernel files and have a format used by different JUICE SOC internal tools. The files simply provide a set of variables that are read into the SPICE Kernel Pool. Star Catalogue Directory Structure ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- aareadme.txt This file. UVS_stars_1.tk Contains the current list of stars applicable for the UVS stellar occultations. UVS_stars_2.tk Continuation of the prior file. Split was required in older versions of the SPICE Toolkit to accommodate the number of maximum loadable keywords.
